BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s appeal against her conviction in Zia Orphanage Trust graft case has been accepted at the High Court. Her bail hearing will be held on Sunday, 2pm, the court has decided.

35 hurt as police foil BNP processions in Faridpur, Habiganj
At least 35 people get reportedly injured when police foil processions brought out by BNP men in Faridpur and Habiganj districts. Police detain 20 BNP men including Syed Modersar Ali, secretary general of Faridpur district BNP unit and its Joint Secretary General Julfiker Hossan and President of Sadar Upazila BNP unit Roufunabi.
