Absence of main opposition remains the biggest challenge

BNP mayoral candidate in Khulna City Corporation Nazrul Islam Manzu demands immediate withdrawal of Khulna police commissioner, deputy commissioner of Detective Branch of police and officer-in-charge of its six police stations for the sake of holding the election in a free and fair manner.

BNP blames the Election Commission for its utter failures in creating level-playing field in Gazipur and Khulna city corporation elections scheduled to be held on May 15.
