The High Court yesterday cautioned the additional deputy commissioner (general) of Laxmipur and an executive magistrate for punishing a former acting civil surgeon through a mobile court.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Sheikh Murshidul Islam of Laxmipur and former acting civil surgeon Salahuddin Sharif of the district “settled the dispute” between them at a meeting organised by the district administration yesterday.
