The prime minister, the government and the people of Bangladesh can be justly proud that the country will now be able to graduate out of the Least Developed Country (LDC) status within the next few years.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina renews her firm resolve to clampdown on terrorism and militancy to ensure peace and security for the people, saying that her government won't allow any type of these social menaces.

Bangladesh will not be able to graduate from its least-developed country (LDC) status before 2024, says the Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD).
