Prime Video has officially greenlit “Carrie”, a television series based on Stephen King’s acclaimed novel. The series will be spearheaded by Mike Flanagan—known for “The Fall of the House of Usher” and “Midnight Mass”—who will serve as writer, executive producer, and showrunner, while also directing a number of episodes. 

The acclaimed actress and film producer Reese Witherspoon recently took to Instagram to reveal that Lexi Minetree has been chosen to portray Elle Woods in the forthcoming “Legally Blonde” prequel series, “Elle”. The show will follow Woods during her high school years before she went off to Harvard.

A new "Robocop" series seems increasingly likely to materialise on Amazon Prime Video. The streaming platform has secured two prominent producers for the upcoming serialised adaptation of the iconic sci-fi action saga.

A television series set within the universe of the iconic film franchise "Legally Blonde" is currently in the works at Amazon Prime Video, according to sources confirmed by Variety.

"Legally Blonde" turns 20 this year.
