A 70-year-old man was beaten to death allegedly by a youngster for protesting against loud music during a picnic in Jhalakathi's Nalchity upazila early yesterday.

An elderly man died after being assaulted by his neighbours yesterday for protesting against loud music on the rooftop of their apartment, police and family sources said.

People should listen to music for no more than one hour a day to protect their hearing, the WHO suggests.
