The officer-in-charge (OC) of Sonagazi Model Police Station in Feni has been withdrawn over the arson attack on a madrasa student four days ago. The case has been handed over to the Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI).

Police are yet to make any breakthrough in the investigation into the heinous attack on the Feni madrasa girl on April 6.

The Feni madrasa student, who is battling for her life after she was set on fire three days ago, cannot be taken to Singapore as the five-hour plane journey might be very risky for her.

The Feni madrasa girl, who was set on fire three days ago over her alleged sexual harassment by a madrasa principal, told physicians that four people were involved in setting fire to her at Sonagazi Islamia Senior Fazil Madrasa on Saturday.

The Feni madrasa student, who was set on fire, says that a total of four people wearing headscarf, burqa and hand socks set her on fire.
