Detectives on Thursday night arrested two more suspects in Chittagong in connection with the murder of SP Babul Akter's wife Mahmuda Khanam Mitu.

Chittagong police alert all airports and land ports in the country so that the five suspected killers of Mahmuda Khanam Mitu, wife of Superintendent of Police Babul Akter, cannot leave the country.

The government has not placed Superintendent of Police Babul Akter, whose wife was killed last month in Chittagong, under scanner, Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan has said in relevance to quizzing of the police official.

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan says SP Babul Akter was taken to DB office for facilitating the interrogation of the suspects arrested in connection with the murder of his wife Mahmuda Khanam Mitu.
