A fire that tore through a five-storey building taken over for illegal housing killed 74 people including 12 children in central Johannesburg overnight, South African authorities said Thursday

At least 26 people were dead and more than 60 received burn injuries in a fire near a metro rail station in Delhi on Friday (May 13, 2022), Delhi Fire Services chief Atul Garg said.
