A spontaneous girl, who entered showbiz in 2006 as a model while still in school, quickly made her mark in the industry with grace and charm. Sarika Subrin, a household name for her roles in small-screen dramas, is now making waves on OTT platforms. She has also been the host of the longest-running celebrity show, “Amar Ami”, for four years now.

Yesterday, the film, presented by the beauty brand Lily, premiered on the OTT platform Binge. Alongside the main cast and director, the premiere was attended by several celebrities, including Bidya Sinha Mim, Prarthana Fardin Dighi, Samira Khan Mahi, Rukaiya Jahan Chamak, and Senior Operative Director Hasan Faruk of Remark HB, among others.

Rafiath Rashid Mithila has lately been engrossed in the Cinema of West Bengal. Her recent release, “Mayaa”, has already been receiving appreciation there. Three of her news films are now awaiting their respective release dates.

Directed by Raajhorshee Dey, “Mayaa” has been released across 28 halls in the city.

Raajhorshee De's upcoming film “Mayaa” which draws inspiration from William Shakespeare's play “Macbeth”, is scheduled to begin screening from July 7.

Mayaa, the character, is said to be a combination of the play's Wayward sisters and Lady Macbeth. The film presents a feminist spin to the popular tragedy, focusing on Lady Macbeth's perspective this time.
