Meena Bazar continues to uphold international standards in service and product quality while ensuring competitive prices

A Meena Bazar outlet in Dhaka’s Mohammadpur was fined Tk 1.5 lakh on charge of displaying cigarette adverts and selling “adulterated” frozen meat.

Superstore owners yesterday urged the government to scientifically test any product from their shelves before taking action based on allegations of selling substandard or adulterated foods.

Owners of nearly 100 superstores keep their shutter down in Dhaka and other parts of the country since this morning, protesting “harassment through implementation of discriminatory policy and misuse of law”.
