The 97th Academy Awards kicked off in Los Angeles. “Anora” won Best Picture at the 2025 Oscars. The film dominated the evening with five awards, including Best Actress for Mikey Madison. Director Sean Baker took home three Oscars for Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, and Best Film Editing.
