The film will star Mithun Chakraborty opposite Bangladeshi actress Afsana Mimi. To ensure the screenplay does justice to the source material, Pal will travel to Bangladesh to research and review the locations referenced in the novel.

Indian veteran actor Atul Parchure, widely recognised for his remarkable work in both Marathi and Hindi cinema, has passed away at the age of 57, as reported by The Indian Express.

Veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty is all set to play the role of the iconic character, Kabuliwala, from Rabindranath Tagore's all-time classic "Kabuliwala". The story is based on the father-daughter bond that forms between a young girl and a merchant in Afghanistan.

The Bangladeshi director stated that they hope to officially sign in Mithun Chakraborty for their film before this Eid.
