Bangladesh is set to participate in the LAN event of Asian eSports Games 2024, an Asia-based esports competition scheduled to take place in Bangkok, Thailand, from November 23 to December 2, competing in 'Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) - Female' and 'eFootball'.

Deemed the "biggest mobile esports tournament in Bangladesh", D1 Mobile Mania 2024 had a total prize pool of BDT 30 lakh, with over 1,700 local esports players and over 250 local esports teams competing in Call Of Duty: Mobile (CODM), Mobile Legends Bang Bang (MLBB), and eFootball 2024.

In August this year, the local esports team 'Oriental Phoenix' emerged victorious in Mobile Legends Bangladesh Championship (MBC), the official, national-level esports tournament for the mobile game 'Mobile Legends: Bang Bang' (MBBL).
