106,343 mobile users have successfully switched their operators keeping its existing eleven digits number using mobile number portability (MNP) service in first three months of its launch.

Robi has pulled in 16,916 customers to its network from three rivals in the first three weeks after the mobile number portability was rolled out, according to a report of the telecom regulator.

The much-awaited mobile number portability (MNP) service is launched for the first time in Bangladesh. With this Bangladesh becomes the 72nd country to make the service available.

The top three mobile operators spent Tk 104 crore last fiscal year for reaching their target audience through digital platforms, with Facebook being the most popular medium.
