Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif will attend multilateral talks on finding a political solution to the conflict in Syria in Vienna this week, a government spokeswoman has said.

Foreign ministers from six world powers and their Iranian counterpart negotiate in Switzerland on the Iran's Nuclear Programme and the talks are to reach a preliminary agreement on final day of the talks.

Iran and major powers are close to agreement on a 2- or 3-page accord with specific numbers that would form the basis of a long-term settlement aimed at ending a 12-year standoff over Tehran's nuclear ambitions, officials said
