The ongoing impasse over the Asia Cup trophy -- which India declined to collect during last month’s closing ceremony due to heightened tensions with Pakistan -- remains unresolved.

Asian Cricket Council chief Mohsin Naqvi, who also heads Pakistan's cricket board, said Wednesday that India are "welcome" to collect their Asia Cup trophy from his office in Dubai.

Asian Cricket Council (ACC) chief Mohsin Naqvi on Monday warned India against “dragging war” into sports, saying that doing so only exposed India’s “desperation.”

“That will also be announced soon [regarding Asia Cup],” Naqvi told reporters.
