Actress Shobnom Bubly shared the poster of her upcoming starrer project “Pinik” on social media, announcing its release during Eid. The film is set to join the lineup alongside new movies starring Shakib Khan, Siam Ahmed, and Afran Nisho for the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr.

On Sunday (January 12), the makers of “Rickshaw Girl” unveiled a new trailer alongside the official announcement of its release date. The much-anticipated film, directed by Amitabh Reza, is set to hit theatres across the country on January 24.

Today, faculty members and students from Dhaka International University (DIU) are set to attend a special screening of “Priyo Maloti”, featuring Mehazabien Chowdhury, at Star Cineplex’s SKS Tower in Dhaka. The university has reserved a hall for the 7:45pm show. 

“Rickshaw Girl,” directed by Amitabh Reza, is finally set to release in Bangladeshi cinemas next year, as confirmed by the director himself.

Today, four movies, both local and international, are hitting theatres nationwide. Among the Bangladeshi releases are “Priyo Maloti” and “Makorshar Jall”, while Cineplex audiences can also enjoy the Hollywood titles “Kraven the Hunter” and “Mufasa: The Lion King.”

Mehazabien Chowdhury is set to make her much-anticipated silver screen debut with “Priyo Maloti”, directed by Shankha Dasgupta. Inspired by true events, the film explores the life of Maloti Rani Das, a woman navigating life’s challenges alongside her husband, Palash Kumar Das.

The film “Pinik”, directed by Zahid Jewel, is among the highly anticipated releases this Eid, starring Ador Azad and Bubly. Joining the festive lineup, Shakib Khan, Siam Ahmed and Afran Nisho will also bring their latest project to the audience.

In a poignant tribute to the late Mannan Hira's theatrical legacy, his final written play, "Rongin Chorki", is set to premiere today at 7:00pm in the National Drama Theatre at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy. Directed by Sajidur Rahman, this play marks the culmination of Mannan Hira's profound contributions to Bangladesh's dramatic arts.
