Edison Group has recently signed an agreement with the international mobile brand Motorola to assemble smartphones in Bangladesh. 

Motorola is eyeing to establish a manufacturing plant in the country. Currently, they are in talks with the regulatory body, but the exact timeline is uncertain. These ambitious announcements were made in a press conference yesterday during the launching of moto g9 plus which is going to be sold in Daraz.
