A press conference was held today at Bangladesh Film Development Corporation (BFDC) to announce the screening of the biopic “Mujib: The Making of a Nation” across 160 upazilas of Bangladesh. This joint venture production of the Bangladesh and Indian governments has been directed by renowned filmmaker Shyam Benegal.

Today, the official trailer of the highly-anticipated “Mujib” biopic was unveiled at a five-star hotel in Dhaka. Information and Broadcasting Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud was present at the event.

"Mujib: The Making of a Nation", the biopic of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, has received permission from Bangladesh Film Censor Board to be released.

I had to go through any and every film I could find that was set around the 1950s and after to understand how the society was during that time.
