Prominent fashion designer and Vice-President of the Fashion Design Council of Bangladesh (FDCB), Emdad Hoque, passed away at a private hospital in Dhaka city on Friday. He was 57.

The first namaj-e-janaza of Syed Fahim Munaim, chief executive officer and chief editor at Maasranga Television, has been held on the premises of Jatiya Press Club in Dhaka.
