Md Shah Nur Mia, ringleader of a syndicate which handed forged national identity cards to Rohingyas, has been arrested, CMP investigators said yesterday.

The government decides to allow a person to register maximum 20 cellular phone SIM cards against his/her national identity card, says State Minister for Posts and Telecommunications Tarana Halim.

State Minister for Post and Telecommunication Tarana Halim says around 75 percent out of the one crore SIM cards verified so far have not been registered properly.
