NSC forms five more ad-hoc committees in sports
Having dissolved the existing executive committees of five sports bodies, the National Sports Council (NSC) on Wednesday formed five new ad-hoc committees, raising the number of ad-hoc committees to 21 since the political changeover on August 5, 2024.

BCB can amend its constitution, SC rules
Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) can amend its constitution, the Supreme Court rules. A three-member bench of the Appellate Division headed by Chief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha passed the order after disposing an appeal filed by the BCB and National Sports Council.
