Terming the Rohingya crisis a national one, BNP has said it wants a national unity to face the problem instead of doing politic over the issue.

BNP senior leader Abdullah Al Noman today says the prime minister’s remark on their proposed national unity will divide the nation instead of making them united to tackle a serious national problem like militancy.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir alleges the government is not sincere to forge national unity to tackle militancy in the country.

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia underscored the need for a national unity to keep the integrity of country’s independence and democracy.
