A newborn was rescued from a dumpster in Ice Factory Road area under Chattogram’s Sadarghat Police Station.

A woman was detained while allegedly trying to steal a two-day old baby from Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) yesterday.

The probe body formed to investigate the incident in which a baby girl was exchanged with the body of a baby-boy by a Chittagong clinic recommended punitive action against the clinic authorities.
