A laboratory for testing samples of suspected coronavirus patients was inaugurated at Noakhali Science and Technology University today.

The High Court (HC) yesterday declared the appointment of Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU) Vice Chancellor Prof M Wahiduzzaman legal by rejecting a writ petition challenging the legality of the appointment.

The High Court questions the legality of the appointment of Prof M Wahiduzzaman to the post of vice chancellor of Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU).
