Pakistan beat South Africa by 93 runs in the first Test in Lahore on Wednesday to take a 1-0 lead in the two-match series.

The first Test between Pakistan and South Africa was set for a thrilling conclusion after rival spinners Noman Ali and Senuran Muthusamy wrought destruction on day three in Lahore on Tuesday.

Spinner Sajid Khan took five wickets to guide Pakistan to a 127-run win in the first Test of the two-match series against West Indies in Multan on Sunday.

Nasser Hussain said Pakistan had found the "kryptonite to Bazball" after wrapping up a 2-1 series win over England with an emphatic nine-wicket victory in Rawalpindi on Saturday.

The hosts sealed a nine-wicket win in the third Test in Rawalpindi with Noman taking 6-42 and Sajid 4-69 in the second innings as England were bowled out for just 112.

Pakistan spinner Noman Ali was recovering Saturday after being rushed to hospital with acute appendicitis, with the veteran ruled out of the rest of their series against Australia.
