To bring “Noya Manush” closer to the masses, the filmmakers have launched an alternative screening initiative. The journey officially began on December 25 at Dhaka University’s TSC auditorium, followed by screenings at various universities and cultural centres across the country.

In addition to her work in cinema, Mousumi has also appeared in numerous OTT projects, many of which have been well-received by audiences. She shared, “There are possibilities for new projects in OTT soon. I’m hopeful about delivering some great content.”

Two highly anticipated films are making their way to theatres across the country today, titled “Noya Manush,” directed by Sohel Rana Boyati, and “Duniya,” directed by Saif Chandan.

Another notable release, “Noya Manush”, is already captivating audiences in theatres this December. Directed by Sohel Rana Boyati, this drama features Rawnak Hasan and Mousumi Hamid in leading roles, with a large ensemble cast. The story revolves around survivors of a flood who start new lives on an island. 

Bangladeshi actor, director, and playwright Rawnak Hasan’s latest film, "Noya Manush", is set to release next month. This marks his ninth appearance on the big screen, and after a long hiatus, Rawnak is finally returning to the big screen, expressing his excitement for the release.

Actress Mousumi Hamid has been the subject of much speculation recently, following her comments on marital separation. While many assumed she was referring to her marriage, she later clarified that her remarks were meant in a broader context.

Centered on the lives of riverbed communities, the film “Noya Manush” has recently received clearance from the certification board. Directed by Sohel Rana Boyati, and starring Mousumi Hamid and Rawnak Hasan in lead roles, the film is scheduled for theatrical release by the end of the year.
