Former BNP lawmaker Mafidul Hasan Tripty is arrested from Dhaka’s Banani area this evening in connection with the murder of former National University (NU) vice-chancellor (VC) Professor Aftab Ahmed.

National University has postponed degree examinations of the year 2015 scheduled for today due to countrywide flood, according to a release published on its website.
