The week-long free screening of the film, "Mujib: The Making of A Nation" commenced with an inaugural show at 3 pm at Madhuban Cinema Hall, Bogura, yesterday.

Tisha cited that the narrative of “Mujib” has been shown from Bangamata’s perspective. After being a part of the project, the actress realised that this film will remain as a visual testament for the next generation, to know about the actual contributions of Bangamata.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina expressed her strong wish for the nation to witness the biographical film, "Mujib: The Making of A Nation" and she herself attended the premiere alongside the lead actor, Arifin Shuvoo.

As “Mujib: The Making of The Nation” drops in theaters today, Bangladeshi audiences will get to witness the personal journey of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and how his love for the country inspired him to fight till his death.

The film is all set to have the nationwide theatrical release tomorrow.

Arifin Shuvoo responded to a question about how well he portrayed the role of Bangabandhu by saying, "I'm not the one who should judge that; the audience will. What I can say is that the film's director, Shyam Benegal, is quite satisfied with my performance. Additionally, Bangabandhu's family has seen the film and expressed their satisfaction. They have acknowledged the effort and hard work we put into it."

Traditionally, nations around the world host such celebratory events to honour the achievements of their cinema in film festivals. This is the first time that Bangladesh has arranged such a celebratory night to grace the Bangladeshi films during an international film festival.

Mostafa Sarwar Farooki's much awaited film "Something Like an Autobiography" was finally premiered at the 28th Busan International Film Festival yesterday. 

The music for "Ochin Majhi" is composed by Shantanu Moitra, with lyrics penned by Zahid Akbar and vocals provided by Rathijit Bhattacharjee. The lyrics originated from Dhaka and the final song was produced in Mumbai studios.

Today, the official trailer of the highly-anticipated “Mujib” biopic was unveiled at a five-star hotel in Dhaka. Information and Broadcasting Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud was present at the event.

Celebrity couple Mostofa Sarwar Farooki and Nusrat Imrose Tisha will be coming together on screen for the first time for his film “Something like an Autobiography”, one of the 12 love stories from anthology film series “Ministry of Love.” The on-screen duo also co-wrote the screenplay for the web-film.

The cinematic masterpiece "Mujib: The Making of a Nation", which delves into the remarkable life of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, is directed by eminent Indian filmmaker Shyam Benegal.

Former cultural minister Asaduzzaman Noor, who oversaw the film, was also present at the event.

"Mujib: The Making of a Nation", the biopic of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, has received permission from Bangladesh Film Censor Board to be released.

Beloved "Sisimpur" character Halum will star alongside Nusrat Imrose Tisha in an educational YouTube video.

"Kathbirali" famed director Niamul Hasan Mukta directed film, "Rokto Joba" will be released on the new platform of Channel i, iScreen. The film features Nusrat Imrose Tisha and Sariful Razz in the lead roles. This is their first collaboration together.
