The High Court (HC) fixes November 3 for passing an order on a bail petition filed by suspended officer-in-charge of Sonagazi Police Station Moazzem Hossain in a case filed on charges of recording statement of Feni madrasa student Nusrat Jahan Rafi and circulating the video on social media.

The High Court yesterday directed the government to conduct an enquiry against the Sonagazi Islamia Fazil Madrasa’s Governing Body chairman, in connection with the sexual harassment and murder of Nusrat Jahan Rafi.

Police Bureau of Investigation has submitted a charge sheet against lone accused Feni’s Sonagazi Islamia Senior Fazil Madrasa principal Siraj Ud Daula in a case filed over sexual assault on Nusrat Jahan Rafi.
