Hundreds of people are rushing to Dhaka Medical College morgue to identify their near and dear ones as the bodies of at least 67 Chawkbazar chemical warehouse victims have been taken to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

The death toll from the fire at a chemical warehouse in Chawkbazar area of Old Dhaka jumps to 70, says Fire Service and Civil Defence.

At least 10 people were killed and scores injured as a fire ripped through a building in old Dhaka's Chawkbazar last night, said Ali Ahmed, director general of Fire Service and Civil Defence.
