Pakistan got off to a winning start after overcoming Ireland's fight while West Indies were shocked by Scotland's spirit, despite Hayley Matthews's exceptional fight, on an eventful opening day of the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2025.

Pakistan produced a superb all-round display to beat Sri Lanka in the second match of the ICC Women's T20 World Cup.

Having made her international debut in 2006, Maroof represented Pakistan in  276 international matches, aggregating 6,262 international runs, including 33 half-centuries to go with 80 wickets.

The Pakistan team will arrive on the 20th and travel to Chattogram on the same day. The visitors would then hold their first practice session on October 23.
