Import of Hindi movies has been a long-standing demand of cinema hall owners. That demand was fulfilled with the release of Bollywood's "Pathaan".

While hall owners and distributors are happy with the release of "Pathaan", some artistes are still opposed to the idea of releasing Hindi films in our theatres.

Action Cut Entertainment is importing Pathan to Bangladesh. On behalf of the organisation, Anonno Mamun told The Daily Star, “We will submit the film to the censor board tomorrow. If we get the clearance, it will be released next Friday.”

After months of debate and verbal approval, we finally know the date on which “Pathaan” will release in Bangladesh. From May 5, fans can finally see Shah Rukh Khan’s commercial blockbuster in our halls.
