After a successful second week, “Pathaan" is now being screened in 40 halls, with 175 shows per day in the third week. Tracing back the Hindi film’s journey till now, it did not gain much response on single-screens. However, it is doing well in multiplexes.

Bangladeshi cinema hall owners have been wanting to screen Hindi films for quite a while now—their wish seems to finally take shape with the release of “Pathaan”.

Veteran filmmaker Delwar Jahan Jhantu has strongly opposed the release of Hindi films in Bangladesh since the start. He was also present at the press conference. 

While many are vying to postpone "Pathaan" release in Bangladesh, director Anonno Mamun, who is responsible for the import of “Pathaan”, announced that the film will be released on May 5.

Bangladesh Film Directors' Association has given some conditions for the screening of Hindi films in theaters in Bangladesh. According to the conditions given by the organization, Bollywood films cannot be shown in the first two weeks of the month.
