Dense fog in the river Padma causes a nine-hour halt in ferry services on the Paturia-Daulatdia route.

Several hundred vehicles are at a stand-still on both sides at the Paturia- Daulatdia ferry ghat as strong currents on the Padma river hamper ferry services.
