The High Court (HC) has directed the investigation officers (IOs) of murder cases to submit the postmortem and inquest reports to the concerned magistrates within 10 days of any murder incidents.

The High Court summons Dr Sohel Mahmud, head of forensic medicine department at Dhaka Medical College, to appear before it on December 3 to hear his statement about the postmortem of Shamima Laila Arjumanna Khan Shammi.
