The limited launch of the metro tomorrow is unlikely to make any real dent in Dhaka's traffic problem

The government has decided that movement of vehicles carrying goods will remain suspended for 10 days before and after Eid-ul-Fitr on Dhaka-Paturia and Dhaka-Archiah highways and Paturia-Daulatdia and Aricha-Kazirhat river routes.

Transport owners begin plying buses on the streets, what they have kept halted since the student agitation in Dhaka last week.
