Mehazabien Chowdhury loves to travel whenever she finds time in her busy schedule. Recently she flew to Malaysia to celebrate New Year’s Eve and welcome a new year in a new place like she always dreamt. Star Showbiz catches up with the actress over the phone.

“Rokeya is one of the most challenging and popular characters I have donned,” she said. “In the last three years, wherever I went, be it in or outside the country, people kept asking me about the next instalment,” quipped the actress, who added that she has never experienced this much hype for any other project.

Abdullah Al Sentu had been affiliated with the world of acting since he was in grade five, having both directed and acted on stage with Chandraboti Theatre. After honing his skills, he travelled to Dhaka in 2016, opting to work in short films.

Vicky Zahed hinted on creating a new web-series for the Punorjonmo" franchise. However, the director has yet to reveal if the series will start from where “Punorjonmo: Ontim Porbo” ended or will it be a new story entirely.

With great works like “Punorjonmo”, “Redrum” and “Sabrina” amongst many others, the actor has become one of the most popular artistes in the industry. Yet, Mehazabien has been away from acting for almost a year now.

Now, Mehazabien is returning to the small screen with the shooting of Vickey Zahed's upcoming crime thriller drama "Punorjonmo".
