A talented ensemble of third-year students from the Department of Theatre and Performance Studies will bring the iconic production to life from February 24 to March 1, at the Natmandal Auditorium, under the direction of Assistant Professor Tanvir Nahid Khan. The play will be staged daily at 7pm, with additional shows on February 28 and March 1, at 5:00pm and 7:30pm, respectively.

Distinguished Bengali filmmaker and theatre artiste Goutam Halder passed away after suffering from a heart attack on Friday at the age of 67.

Chittagong-based music organisation Raktakarabi launched a special music album “Raag-e Robiraag-e” at The Daily Star-Bengal Arts Precinct at The Daily Star Centre on December 9. The album features a demonstrative presentation of Hindustani Classical Ragas along with Tagore songs based on the related ragas.
