Inspector General of Police Benazir Ahmed says they would not allow anyone to cook and sell iftar items on the streets and footpaths during the upcoming month of Ramadan, in order to avoid public gathering and spread of coronavirus.

The government has announced office timing for the upcoming holy month of Ramadan -- from 9:00am to 3:30pm -- for all government, semi-government, autonomous and semi-autonomous institutions.
