The holy month of Ramadan, when Muslims engage in self-purification through fasting and abstinence, begins in the country tomorrow as the new crescent moon is sighted in Bangladesh sky today.

The government has decided to further intensify mobile court drives to check food adulteration ahead of the month of Ramadan and standardise all tests carried out during such drives.
