Renowned actor and comedian Tele Samad breathed his last at the city's Square Hospital recently. He was born on January 8, 1945, in Mymensingh. Tele Samad, who made his debut in 1973 with the movie, 'Kar Bou', acted in around 600 films.

Renowned comedian and film actor Abdus Samad, popularly known as Tele Samad, passed away yesterday at the age of 74.
