Bangladesh is the third most dangerous country for journalists, according to the 2024 report of Reporters Without Borders (RSF) published yesterday.

Forty-nine journalists were killed across the world in 2019, Reporters Without Borders says, the lowest death toll in 16 years.

Bangladesh slips four notches down in the World Press Freedom Index-2019 published by Paris-based Reporters Without Borders (RSF).
