At the beginning of October, Pori Moni returned to work at the film set with the film “Story of Dodo”, following her two-year-long break. The popular actress was on her way to diving back to filming consistently, however, she fell ill and had to be hospitalised after the initial four days of filming. The shooting of the film had been halted at the same time too.

Pori Moni will soon be seen playing the lead role in "Story of Dodo", written and directed by Reza Ghatok. The film marks Pori Moni's return to the film scenes after a two-year-long break.

"Story of Dodo" is a government granted film which received funding in the financial year 2021-2022. Directed by Reza Ghatok and produced by Nazmul Haque Bhuiyan, the film received a grant of Tk 60 lakhs.
