City commuters suffered long delays as hundreds of students blocked different streets yesterday, demanding safe roads and justice for the death of a fellow student in a road crash.

Under pressure from road safety protesters, the authorities yesterday suspended the operation of two bus services, but a section of demonstrators vowed to remain on the streets until all their demands are met.
