For the last 12 years, Robinhood — The Animal Rescuer Society has been working for raising awareness on animal rights, organise animal rescue and their rehabilitation. Back in 2019, the organisation was connected with 999, the national emergency hotline and has been working to rescue animals ever since.

Awareness among people is very necessary to stop abuse of the street animals as they deserve empathy and care like other living beings, speakers say at a discussion in Dhaka.
