The Public Works Department (PWD) has withdrawn an executive engineer from Pabna over alleged irregularities in purchasing furniture and other household items for a housing project of Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant.

A construction worker was killed and another severely injured after a crane fell on them in Rooppur nuclear power plant project area of Pabna's Ishwardi on Friday evening.
