State-owned Atlas Bangladesh and private manufacturer Runner Automobiles have teamed up to cater to the growing local market for motorcycle helmets, which currently relies on imported products.

Green Delta Capital Limited (GDCL) has successfully closed the subscription of a sustainability bond for Runner Automobiles PLC. According to a press release, this is the first-ever sustainability bond in Bangladesh certified by Moody’s Investors Service Singapore Pte.

This investment will contribute to the growth of Bangladesh's bond market and diversify MetLife's already robust portfolio of investments in the country.

Runner Automobiles PLC today said it is going to issue a Tk 265 crore bond to expand its customer base and build a rooftop solar plant for its three-wheeler manufacturing facility.
