Regarding his appointment as a jury member, Khandaker Sumon stated, "I have a special connection with the Nepal International Film Festival. After winning an award for ‘Saatao’ here, it is an honour to now serve as a judge. Mumbai Film Festival to screen 3 Bangladeshi films

The 20th instalment of the Third Eye Asian Film Festival is set to commence in Mumbai on January 12. This year three Bangladeshi films, namely “Saatao” by Khandaker Sumon, “Patalghor” by Noor Imran Mithu, and “Nona Pani” by Syeda Neegar Banu, have been chosen for inclusion in this festival.

Under BSA’s nationwide film screening initiative, “Ganajagorone Chalachitra Utsab”, the film is one of the 17 films which will be screened across the country from December 29, 2023, to January 5, 2024. “Satao” will be screened at 4 pm today.
